Skills used in crafting[edit | edit source]
Crafting relies primarily on the Science, Medicine, and Survival skills.
The Science skill can be used to discover or learn blueprints for various gadgets and contraptions, which the player character can then craft. These items may include anything from electric lanterns to prototypical weapons.
The Medicine skill allows the player character to discover or learn formulas of various mixtures or drug, which he or she can then produce. This includes items such as cocaine or pheromone cocktails.
The Survival skill gradually unlocks new recipes, which include such items as ammo belts and handmade backpacks.
Components[edit | edit source]
Crafting items requires the use of components. Sometimes these are specific components, meaning the specified item is the only component that will suffice, but in other cases, only a item with a specific crafting trait is required. For example, an item may require a component with the Alcoholic trait, and pure alcohol or any kind of liquor will suffice.
